Schools and Colleges

Kettering benefits from higher than average educational attainment.

An investment of £55 million has been made into building two new academies in Kettering which have just been completed - Kettering Buccleuch Academy and Kettering Science Academy.

Tresham College of Further and Higher Education recently completed a state of the art multi-million pound college campus on the outskirts of the town and has over 10,000 part time and full time learners. The college is striving consistently to provide a place where learners can achieve their maximum potential.

Tresham was recently announced as the first further education college in Northamptonshire to become a Peter Jones Enterprise Academy. The academy offers BTEC level 3 in Enterprise and Entrepeneurship - the first qualifications of their kind for 16-19year olds in the UK.

The local council and its partners have made education and skills a key part of its regeneration vision for the Borough, in keeping with its plans to attract higher grade, higher density employment.
