VELUX has chosen Rothwell to build its carbon neutral 20:20 homes which further complement the high environmental standards of new housing development in the borough of Kettering. The VELUX Model Home 2020 project aims to prove that it is possible to build energy efficient, sustainable housing that is practical, comfortable and appealing, and most importantly affordable.
Interestingly, Kettering was also rated one of the top 10 locations to self-build a new home in a recent Channel Four programme. The criteria included the price and availability of land and the planning policies in place.
